Magnesia–chrome brick is a shaped refractory for service in basic slag environments and selected high-temperature zones.

Description

Made with MgO and Cr2O3-bearing aggregates/binders, the brick is applied where basic chemistry and thermal stability are required, subject to local environmental and safety regulations regarding chromia-containing materials.

Non-ferrous and cement kiln zones per design
Steelmaking units with basic slag contact
Working or backup linings specified by process

Packaging

Palletized with protective wrapping and edge protection
Labels show product, size, and batch identification
Handle to avoid edge chipping and impact damage

Storage

Store in a dry, covered warehouse
Stack on level wooden supports; avoid overloading
Keep packaged until installation; use FIFO
